Our optician Elisabeth Bjørnestad has taken further training European School for Advanced Veterinary Studies in Toulouse in 2002, 2005 and 2011, which gives her special expertise in this field. The clinic has also invested in the necessary equipment to be able to perform advanced operations, including a surgical microscope that is used during all eye procedures to ensure good handling of tissue and instruments. Entropion surgery "before and after"

Athene had had problems with her eyes for many months. The main problem was watery eyes, and she often blinked with both eyes as you can see in the picture below. The upper eyelids lay heavily over the eyes and hair in the corner of the eye lay on the cornea. Athene was operated on, and here you see a very successful result.
