When eyelids roll inward, it can lead to painful corneal ulcers. This happened to Balder – but luckily there is a gentle solution for growing puppies.

Entropion

Balder had recurring eye problems – with frequent squinting and daily pus in both eyes that his owner had to remove. This caused the eyelashes and hair to rub against the cornea – causing superficial wounds and significant discomfort.

Therefore, it is It is not advisable to permanently operate on the eyelids on such young dogs. – as the structure can still develop. To relieve Balder and prevent further damage, we put temporary sutures (tacking) – which lifts the eyelids back into a normal position. This helps protect the cornea while it grows – and provides a better basis for natural improvement.
